His style often includes rich textures and movement, aspects that you can see evident in this piece through contrasting light and dark hues, and the layering of gestural lines.
Renowned Australian artist David Hart was born and raised in Broken Hill, where he first discovered his passion for painting while working alongside his father, the late Pro Hart (M.B.E.). Beginning his artistic journey at just 16, David has built a distinguished 35-year career, earning international recognition and becoming one of Australia’s most highly collected artists.
