WEICHARD Original
Dog Red 4- Mixed Medium Painting
Renowned Australian contemporary artist Aidan Weichard (b. 1986, Gembrook) is a self-taught artist whose work is deeply inspired by the Australian landscape, wildlife, native flora, and rural life. Growing up surrounded by the bushland of Gembrook, Weichard developed a strong connection with the land and its animal inhabitants, which continues to shape his distinctive artistic practice. Over more than a decade, he has developed a dynamic body of work that has been exhibited extensively across Australia and internationally.
Through bold experimentation with colour, expressive mark-making, and layered mixed-media techniques, Weichard brings energy and movement to his subjects. Combining mediums such as acrylic, spray paint, oil stick, and enamel, he allows abstract shapes and vibrant layers to merge with recognisable details of Australian fauna and flora. His works capture the vitality, resilience, and character of the natural world, creating striking compositions filled with texture, depth, and expressive colour.

Buying my David Bromley through HartFinds was a dream—great price, seamless process, and the confidence of purchasing through the trusted Hart family. I couldn’t be happier with the artwork!
I recently sold a Pro Hart painting on and They handled all aspects of the sale including transport of the painting from my home, located outside Queensland, to the buyer. The service they provided was exemplary. Very professional service. Highly recommended.
I sold my Pro Hart from my home in Europe after owning it for well over 30 years. I was quite cautious about such a long distance arrangement but the gallery was very effective and friendly. Christine offered personal and professional service and guidance. I am also happy that it could be returned to Australia and handled by the Hart family.- the best solution really. Happy to recommend!
A big shout out of thanks and appreciation to Christine and the team who advised us well as we prepared to sell a Pro Hart original: their expert advice, followed trustingly, was rewarded with a prompt sale at a reasonable price.
