Deeply connected to her heritage, Janet has developed a respected career sharing Warlpiri culture through painting, teaching, and writing.
Her acclaimed “Dreaming Sandy Creek” series draws from the ancestral story of the water Dreaming (Ngapa Jukurrpa), a powerful narrative passed down through her father’s lineage. Using meticulous dotting, flowing lines, and symbolic forms, Janet creates paintings that represent rain, waterholes, and the journey of ancestral beings. Her work is known for its lyrical beauty, precision, and deep cultural meaning.
